cTuning Labs (CTUNING) is an independent R&D and advisory initiative founded by Grigori Fursin to help startups, enterprises, and investors transform emerging technologies in computing and AI into efficient, scalable, and cost-effective systems while reducing technical risk and time-to-market.

cTuning Labs builds on Grigori’s pioneering interdisciplinary R&D, open-source developments, automation platforms, first-principles approach, and experience across physics, computer engineering, machine learning, AI systems, startups, open-source ecosystems, and industry. This work has been recognized through multiple international awards, including two ACM/IEEE Test of Time Awards (2017 and 2025), and validated through collaborative real-world projects involving Arm, General Motors, Amazon, Google, Intel, IBM, MLCommons, ACM, and others.

We help with self-optimizing AI infrastructure, software–hardware co-design, agentic R&D automation, reproducible benchmarking, digital twins, simulation, performance modelling, and efficient computing systems from cloud to edge.

Early public engagements included work with Lumai, advising on AI infrastructure strategy, software–hardware co-design, benchmarking, simulation, and performance modelling for emerging optical AI acceleration technologies.
